I started making chainmaille jewelry after I figured out that I was allergic to most of the jewelry in the stores. I stumbled onto a chainmaille site and orderd a kit from them. From then on I have worked with different patterns and weaves that appeal to me to make (mostly) bracelets that can survive my daily routines (involving two German Shepard puppies and two toddlers) without showing much wear and tear. I am not a delicate person so I needed them to take a beating without falling to pieces and so far the chainmaille has done just that!
